Josh Groban!

Aren't we hot!
Chandra and I had purchased tickets months ago for the Josh Groban concert held this last weekend at the Key Arena. We were so stoked to be going! We went to a nice dinner at Azul's then dropped off Kai so we could go for a kid-free night with some spectacular music. We had pretty good seats and the show was AMAZING!!!!!! He is so great live; his voice is perfect. Also, his personality was a bit of a shock for me. He was funny and very comfortable. He interacted a lot with the audience giving people hugs and even talking on somebody's cell phone to their friend. His voice gave me goose bumps and I felt like the Spirit was present in his music (which is such a big plus in a world of music that drives the Spirit away). He is a must see!!

This pic isn't actually from the concert, I brought my crappy camera so I couldn't get any good shots. So this is actually what Josh looks like when you pay a lot to sit near the stage or pay a lot more and buy a telephoto lens and...

...these were the pics I took from our humble and much more reasonably priced seats. The top two are of him on the big screens on the sides of the stage.

Wild Waves

Jon, Josh and I took the kids to Wild Waves with the Higgins to attempt to enjoy a partly sunny day. It was just not warm enough for the boys to really enjoy the water park but they loved the "dry side" rides. They couldn't get enough of the car rides! Jon and Josh took them on a mini roller coaster which went surprisingly faster then any of us thought it would; after which we were unsuccessful in getting Clay to ride the big log ride. Maybe next time. Give us a couple more years and our boys will be dragging us behind them.

Merry-go-round. Yipee!

After Clay got off this ride he said, "I don't like that, I'm too tall to ride it".

This car is the world's slowest car ride...it just goes on and on and on...

The boys thought this ride was the greatest until they spotted the car ride.

We rode this one a few times.

The next King?

Sharing a little piece of us with you...
