World's Cutest Dress
For Christmas Uncle Josh and Auntie Jen sent the boys each a Brazil soccer bag & hacky sack and they sent Gabby the cutest dress in the world and an absolutely adorable sweatshirt. Gabby wore the dress on Sunday and I tried to get some good shots for Josh and Jen.
Christmas 2010
First we got a tree~
Then we decorated it~
Decorated cookies w/ friends~
How to decorate a cookie~
Phase 1: Add frosting (lots of it)
Phase 2: Add some more frosting and a bottle of sprinkles
Phase 3: Eat the delicious cookie (with some assistance from dad)
Phase 4: Crunch-crunch
We sang carols, acted out the nativity, and opened one sibling present on Christmas Eve~
The boys bought eachother Paper Jamz- they have been jammin' ever since!
Santa came~
The boys woke up at 5AM (when Mommy went to sleep) and got their stockings while the rest of the family slept in (8AM). As the Lanshe tradition goes, I made the kids breakfast, showered, got ready, and cleaned up the kitchen; wanting to drag out the anticipation as long as possible. Finally, around noon we sat down to open presents. From Santa, Gabby got a dress-up chest, Kai got a music box mp3 player and Clay and Ephraim both got mp3 players. Mom & Dad bought a Kinect (from Grammy and Papa) and a couple games, even Mom got an exercise game and a Harry Potter game- we can't wait to play! Jon got a fogless shave mirror for the shower.
I bought Gabby a stuffed Grinch and she was terrified of him!
We went to the Higgins for a Christmas Mexican Fiesta~
When we arrived, Chandra surprised us with gifts that my mom had been secretly sending her all month! I finally got a KINDLE, THANKS MOM!!!!!! The kids each got a silly hat and puppet that were super cute! Afterwards,we had a great time playing a dance Wii game, eating good food, and just hanging out with our substitute family. The perfect ending to our Christmas day!
The silly hats!
This is Gabby's favorite outfit lately- I am constantly putting her clothes back on!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

HP7!
I LOVE Harry Potter! I love the books and I love the movies- call me childish, call me whimsical- but Harry Potter just makes me happy. So, when the latest movie came out this month (Harry Potter 7 Part 1) I joined some other Harry Potter junkies for a night of fun! The Harry Potter Adventure started at 6pm and ended sometime before 3am, starting with HP and the Order of the Pheonix, then HP and the Half Blood Prince and ending in the newest one HP and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. We got popcorn and dinner at a nearby restaurant and watched Harry Potter- it was the funnest night I have had in ages! I will definitely be going to the HP Adventure for HP7 Part 2!!
The girls: Tara, Emily and Sarah- they made cute HP7 shirts for the event!

Halloween
M&M's and Rock
Since Halloween itself was on a Sunday we decided to do our pumpkin carving that day. The two older boys actually carved and designed their own pumpkins! Kai drew his on the pumpkin and I cut it out. They did a great job!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
