Then we decorated it~
Decorated cookies w/ friends~
How to decorate a cookie~
Phase 1: Add frosting (lots of it)
Phase 2: Add some more frosting and a bottle of sprinkles
Phase 3: Eat the delicious cookie (with some assistance from dad)
Phase 4: Crunch-crunch
We sang carols, acted out the nativity, and opened one sibling present on Christmas Eve~
The boys bought eachother Paper Jamz- they have been jammin' ever since!
Santa came~
The boys woke up at 5AM (when Mommy went to sleep) and got their stockings while the rest of the family slept in (8AM). As the Lanshe tradition goes, I made the kids breakfast, showered, got ready, and cleaned up the kitchen; wanting to drag out the anticipation as long as possible. Finally, around noon we sat down to open presents. From Santa, Gabby got a dress-up chest, Kai got a music box mp3 player and Clay and Ephraim both got mp3 players. Mom & Dad bought a Kinect (from Grammy and Papa) and a couple games, even Mom got an exercise game and a Harry Potter game- we can't wait to play! Jon got a fogless shave mirror for the shower.
I bought Gabby a stuffed Grinch and she was terrified of him!
We went to the Higgins for a Christmas Mexican Fiesta~
When we arrived, Chandra surprised us with gifts that my mom had been secretly sending her all month! I finally got a KINDLE, THANKS MOM!!!!!! The kids each got a silly hat and puppet that were super cute! Afterwards,we had a great time playing a dance Wii game, eating good food, and just hanging out with our substitute family. The perfect ending to our Christmas day!
The silly hats!
This is Gabby's favorite outfit lately- I am constantly putting her clothes back on!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
