The midwife called me today to tell my that my hcG levels hadn't increased enough from Monday to Wednesday (on Monday they were 1800 and they were at 2300 on Wednesday when they should have at least doubled) and they wanted to see me for an ultrasound immediately. I made an appointment for later that day then spent the rest of the day looking up ectopic pregnancy, bleeding, etc. until I was about to have a nervous breakdown! Jon decided he had better take me to the doctors just in case the news was bad and he needed to drive me home.
The first thing the doctor pointed out on the ultrasound was that the gestational sac was indeed INSIDE of my uterus- I sighed a huge sigh of relief. Toward the end, after measuring and checking for abnormalities (none) and leaks (none), we got to see the little fetal pole (0.24 cm!) and a cute little heartbeat- HOORAY!!!!!!! She couldn't record the heart rate because the little guy/gal is so little; so, they want me to come again next week for another look, just to make sure everything is okay. I am saying so many prayers of thanks right now!

glad that everything is ok. Bleeding is scary. I did with Presley 3 times but everything turned out ok. Hopefully you won't have anymore problems. Having stressfull pregnancies sucks (believe me) we'll keep you in our prayers.
I know it is soooo hard, but try not to get yourself worked up. You are in my prayers. And that sweet little pole.
You are in our prayers too! We girls always stress ourselves out usually more than needed, it's that whole "what-if factor" and the fact that everyone tells their horror stories. keep us posted.
hey sar, i'm sure everything will be just fine. you are in all our prayers, too-- i love you.
Congrats on the pregnancy. Scary about all the bleeding, we will keep you in our prayers.
